Former Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels says he won't seek that state’s open U.S. Senate seat next year, ending weeks of speculation about whether the longtime Republican figure would enter a possibly vicious GOP primary fight with a combative defender of former President Donald Trump.

Joe Kernan, a Vietnam prisoner of war who entered politics and was thrust into the states top office when his predecessor suffered a deadly stroke, died Wednesday at age 74. Kernan, a Democrat, won three elections as South Bends mayor before being elected lieutenant governor with Gov. Joe Kernan was a steady hand of leadership at a difficult time for our state," Vice President Mike Pence, a former Indiana governor, said in a statement. Even though our politics differed, Joe Kernan was always kind, always willing to work together for Hoosiers, and Joe Kernan was my friend."
Indiana College Students Can Now Get Their Food Delivered by Robots
Who wouldnt want robots to deliver their food? Students at Purdue University in Indiana are one step ahead of the rest of us now that they have 30 robots on campus just to deliver food. The robots, part of Starship Deliveries, use sensors to keep from running into students and statues. Purdue University President Mitch Daniels had fun with the new additions to the campus.
