NBC’s veteran anchor Lester Holt will soon be stepping down from the network’s flagship “Nightly News” broadcast.

Lester Holt, the anchor and managing editor of “NBC Nightly News” for a decade, announced Monday that he is stepping down from the long-running broadcast at the beginning of the summer.

On Saturday night, there will not be a 6 p.m. show due to NBC Live coverage of the Navy vs. Notre Dame college football game.

On Saturday at 6 p.m., 10 News had an abbreviated newscast online due to the NBC Golf Tour Championship.
