The viewing for the actor, who died last week at age 96, will be held on Monday, Feb. 15, at Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem, according to a statement by her family through her manager Larry Thompson. The viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and COVID-19 protocols will be in place, with masks and social distancing requirements.

In an interview on โCBS Sunday Morning,โ the Oscar-winning actor and filmmaker said he's been cutting his own hair for more than two decades. โMy hair is really like straw,โ Clooney said of his thick, salt-and-pepper thatch. But as Clooney told CBS News correspondent Smith, he's been cutting his hair โfor 25 yearsโ and relies on the Flowbee. Although the actor is famed for pranking his co-stars, Rosenfield said it seemed unlikely this was one of his practical jokes.
Barry Jenkins to direct 'Lion King' follow-up
NEW YORK โ The Walt Disney Co. will make a follow-up to the 2019 live-action โThe Lion King,โ with Barry Jenkins, the director of the Oscar-winning โMoonlightโ and the James Baldwin adaptation โIf Beale Street Could Talk,โ set to direct. The new โLion Kingโ grossed more than $1.6 billion worldwide, so a sequel was perhaps always likely. Less expected was a โLion Kingโ with Jenkins directing. The film, Disney said, will explore the mythology of โThe Lion King,โ including Mufasa's origin story. Disney didn't announce any further plot details or casting on the new โLion Kingโ project, which was first reported by Deadline Hollywood.
'Vanity Fair' cover shot by Black photographer for 1st time
The new issue of Vanity Fair featuring a powerful image of Oscar-winning actor Viola Davis marks the first time the publication has featured the work of a Black photographer on its cover. The historic image of Davis, shot by photographer Dario Calmese, shows the 54-year-old in profile, her back facing the camera. Davis is wearing a blue gown with a deep plunge in the back, hand on hip. The publication has โhad a problem in the past with putting Black women on the covers,โ Davis says in an interview for the magazine. โThis image (of Davis) reclaims that narrative, transmuting the white gaze on Black suffering into the Black gaze of grace, elegance and beauty.โIn her Vanity Fair interview, Davis discusses the recent racial justice protests, her upcoming role as Michelle Obama, her impoverished upbringing in Rhode Island, and the challenges of being a Black woman in Hollywood, among other topics.

Michelle Obama, Gaga, J. Lo to join Oprah on wellness tour
NEW YORK, NY โ Oprah Winfreyโs going on tour, and sheโs bringing a rock-star lineup with her, including former first lady Michelle Obama and Grammy- and Oscar-winner Lady Gaga. Live Nation announced Wednesday that Winfreyโs wellness arena tour with WW (Weight Watchers Reimagined) โ dubbed โOprahโs 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focusโ โ will also include guest appearances from Jennifer Lopez, Dwayne Johnson, Amy Schumer, Tina Fey, Tracee Ellis Ross and Kate Hudson. On the tour, Winfrey will hold one-on-one conversations with the superstars, first with Gaga on January 4, 2020, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The nine-city tour will also visit St. Paul, Minnesota (Fey); Charlotte, North Carolina (Schumer); Atlanta (Johnson); Brooklyn, New York (Obama); Dallas (Ellis Ross); San Francisco (Hudson); and Los Angeles (Lopez). Winfrey will wrap the tour on March 7 in Denver with BFF Gayle King.

The 4-month-old raccoon is definitely the life of the party at the Tampa, Florida, home he shares with two dogs, two cats and two humans. Lexi Quigley, 23, and Blake Olson, 26, rescued Oscar when he was just 2 weeks old. Little Oscar could fit in the palm of Quigley's hand when she found him and had only just opened his eyes and ears. At 11 weeks, Quigley weaned Oscar off the bottle and got him to start eating fruit. While it took one of their dogs a little time to get used to him, Oscar is now just one of the family.
