A vehicle fire on I-81 Southbound at mile marker 126 is causing delays in Montgomery County Tuesday, according to VDOT. Motorists can expect delays, and the left shoulder, left lane, center lane and right lane are closed. Traffic is being directed to the right shoulder.

Drivers should avoid going south on Interstate 81 near Roanoke as a vehicle fire has shut down one lane.
