NYU won its 82nd straight game to set the Division III record for consecutive victories by a women’s basketball team, beating Carnegie Mellon 69-58.

NYU coach Meg Barber was a player for the Violets when rival Washington University of St. Louis was approaching the Division III winning streak record.

Zach Rosenthal dropped 16 points off the bench for the Maroons.
