Interstate 81 partially reopened after tractor-trailer fire

Credit: Gene BourneMONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. – All southbound lanes of Interstate 81 were temporarily closed due to a tractor-trailer fire Wednesday evening.
The fire was at mile marker 129, about a mile north of the Ironto exit.
As of 7:56 p.m., the right lane and shoulder remain closed and traffic backups are about 7 miles, according to VDOT.
