Vehicle fire in Montgomery County on I-81 causes 2-mile backup

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. – If you're driving north from the New River Valley to Roanoke, be prepared for some delays. 

According to VDOT, a vehicle fire has caused a 2-mile backup in Montgomery County on I-81. 

Officials say the fire is at mile marker 121 on the northbound side.
