Roanoke, VA – Temperatures today will warm up into the 40s and 50s throughout our area, making for a nice day with plenty of sunshine.
These conditions persist over the next few days, with the week likely seeing temperatures in the 50s in most of the region.
We could end up with spring-like conditions on Wednesday, with temperatures soaring into the mid to upper 50s. There is certainly a chance we could have a locality hit 60 degrees!
Winds will be gusty this week, with the chance for 40 MPH gusts middle to late this week. This is associated with an upper level system making it’s way to the east, but will be too far north to provide any precipitation.
We see precipitation chances increase Friday and Saturday, with showers likely.
