For about the past month and a half, the Y has been accepting cases of bottled water from people who join the Y and in return those who bring in a case of bottled water get their $50 joiner fee waived.

"God's Pit Crew does such an amazing job helping our community and helping all around the nation. So, we're so thankful to be able to help them," said Sarah Folmar, Danville YMCA's CEO.

This is the second year the Y has done this. Last year, the Y's CEO says the Y collected around 200 cases of bottled water.

This year was just as successful, as the Y estimated they collected at least 200 cases of water.

God's Pit Crew will distribute the water as needed when disasters or crisis happen around the country. God's Pit Crew's operations manager, John Cline, says some of this water could be used to help out the people in Flint, Michigan.

"There's a lot of people collecting water for that load [of water], specifically to go to Michigan," Cline explained. "If it's full, then this will be used for the next disaster."

Regardless of where this water goes, he says he's excited to see how many people in the community are willing to help God's Pit Crew continue continue to help others all across the country.
