DANVILLE (WSLS) - The Danville Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at the Budget Inn.
Officers said three men wearing baggy pants, gloves and masks went into a room of the hotel on Piney Forest Road around 1 a.m. Sunday morning. One man had a semi-automatic pistol, another carried a baseball bat.

Police said they took cash and a cellphone from the victim before running off.
The group has not been identified. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Danville police.
