BLACKSBURG, VA (WSLS 10) - A new restaurant will open at Blacksburg's First and main now that Town Council approved a special request.
In a 4-2 vote Tuesday night, council granted Zoës Kitchen a special exception, allowing it to work around town regulations in order to permit parking in front of the proposed building line and South Main Street. A maximum of 26 parking spaces will be allowed, provided specific conditions are met. The conditions include pedestrian crossing signage, crosswalk striping and an additional sidewalk.
