scheduled to begin on June 29. A hearing has been scheduled for May 5 to reset the date of his trial. Matthew's attorneys say they need time to find a state appointed DNA expert for his defense.
Matthew is charged with first degree murder and abduction with intent to defile in this case.
18-year-old Graham disappeared in Charlottesville last September after she was spotted on surveillance video walking along the downtown mall. Her remains were discovered a month later.
Matthew was expected to appear in court Wednesday morning in person. All previous court appearances since he's been charged in her death were made through video.
