AUGUSTA COUNTY (WVIR) -Augusta County sheriff's deputies say a Monday morning party ended in a fight with shots fired outside a Craigsville home. Later that day, law enforcement arrested the man they believe pulled the trigger.
The suspect, 26-year-old Jonathan Strickler, of Rockbridge County, is behind bars at Middle River Regional Jail. Strickler has been charged with two counts of attempted murder.

The Augusta County Sheriff's Office says Strickler was involved in a fight outside a home on the 2200 block of Estaline Valley Road Monday.
A witness told police Strickler threatened to kill one of the people involved and fired multiple shots, one going right past the victim's head. No one was hurt.
Strickler was scheduled to have a hearing Tuesday afternoon in Augusta County General District Court, but the hearing has been continued to April 10.
