The kids collect beeping Easter eggs built and donated by the Virginia State Police Bomb Squad.

Families from the New River Valley to Lynchburg will attend this year's event at the Daleville Town Center in Botetourt County.

"We lay 70 of these (beeping eggs) out in the field of the Daleville Town Center and then let the kids go out and find them, turn them in and then they get a basket," said organizer Mary Brown.

"We tell (the kids) it's all about you," said organizer Cathy Lauver. "This is your day."

The Audible Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
