ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Roanoke City police said officers made arrest in two recent crimes, one case involved a man suspected of impersonating an officers.
According to police, Devin Johnson II was arrested for impersonating a law enforcement officer. Police said the suspect pulled over a vehicle on Grandview Avenue and asked to see the driver's license and registration. The driver told officers the suspect was driving a dark colored Cadillac with a police-style blue light and siren. The driver told police the suspect did not show any type of badge or identification.

In a separate case, Joshua Kelley and Jeffery Waddell were arrested in relation to a string of convenience store burglaries in the Roanoke Valley. Police said the two suspects broke into two convenience stores, the Stop-In on the 1700 block of Bennington Street and the Gas-n-Shop on Walnut Avenue. Police said surveillance video show the suspects tried to take money from the cash register at each business.
