ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (WSLS 10) - Teammates are remembering a fellow soccer player after he was killed in a car accident.
Police say East Rockingham High School soccer player Ethan Zander was killed Friday afternoon just hours before he was to play in a game.

The 16-year-old's car crossed the center line and was hit by a tractor trailer.
A fellow teammate was also in the car. He remains in the hospital Monday morning.
Zander was goalkeeper and team captain.
The game they were scheduled to play in was canceled.
