ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - The Roanoke Police Department said it arrested the man they believe broke into a local dealership and took multiple tires from the business.
Shawn Braxton was arrested shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday following a short foot pursuit that ended in the 3500 block of Harvest Lane NW.

The robbery happened at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday, June 17 at Magic City Ford in the 800 block of Wiliamson Road NE. Police said they found an exterior door with damage and evidence of a burglary.
Magic City did an inventory and found that multiple tires were missing. The dealership's video surveillance system showed a suspect, and a suspect vehicle, on the property after operating hours.
On Wednesday, police announced they arrested 27-year-old Shawn D'uval Braxton of Roanoke. He was charged with burglary, grand larceny, and obtaining money by false pretenses. Police say the last charge relates to the sale of some of the tires after the theft.
Anyone with additional information on the location of any stolen tires is asked to call the Roanoke Valley Crime Line at 540-344-8500. Tips are anonymous and rewards are offered for the right information, police say.
