PULASKI (WSLS) - Kayla Holliday said her family has been fighting for ten years to find out what really happened to her sister Mindy Dickerson.
"It's not an obsession. There's just the truth in finding justice for my sister," Kayla Holliday said.

She said testing done in California found the Roanoke Medical Examiner's Office had mixed Mindy's brain stem with multiple DNA profiles. It showed the original autopsy report that said she died from an inflammation in her brain was wrong.
Instead, a second autopsy report confirmed her family's suspicions that Mindy had been murdered. It ruled the cause of death as asphyxiation.
"I think the medical examiner's office needs to stop and make it right. This really this does not need to happen to another family. There is a murderer walking on the street," sister Kayla Holliday said.
Holliday is referring to Mindy's husband at the time Leslie Dickerson.
Dickerson was released from jail on Monday after a judge ruled evidence from the second autopsy was contaminated and could not be used in court.
Holliday says the crime scene photos would have the painted the whole story. She said there was a large strap mark across Mindy's neck.
"There were scratches from her head to neck. Her own skin was underneath her fingernail. There was a piece of plastic found in her hair," Holliday said. "There was definitely a struggle there that you could never look at her and say that there wasn't."
Holliday says she found out through the investigation, Leslie had cheated on her sister multiple times. She even talked to one woman who planned to take the stand and detail some of the abuse between her and Leslie.
"Adultery doesn't make you murderer, but I definitely think it was a reason to want to move on with your life without Mindy involved," Holliday said.
