Mother, two sons found dead inside Pensacola home

WKRG – PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) - Florida authorities are investigating a triple homicide in Escambia County after a woman and her two sons were found dead in a Pensacola home.

According to a press release, Escambia Sheriff's Deputies arrived at a home of the 4600 block of Deerfield Drive on Friday morning for a welfare check.  When deputies arrived, they found three dead bodies.

The victims have been identified as 77-year-old Voncile Smith, 49-year-old Richard Thomas Smith and 47-year-old John William Smith.

The cause of death for the three relatives has not been released, but investigators have specifically stated that all three are "victims of homicide."

The investigation, police say, is ongoing. More details will be released when they become available.
