Roanoke city hosts meeting on Intermodal Transportation Study

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Roanoke City hosted an open house-style meeting for people to provide input on an Intermodal Transportation Study Monday afternoon.

The meeting was held Monday until 7 p.m. at Campbell Court. City staff and the architect were there to answer any of the public's questions for a new transportation facility. The facility will serve Amtrak and other forms of transportation like buses.

The study took a look at design, population, and parking needs.

The director of planning, building, and development told us he needs the public's input to know what concerns people may have.
