DUBLIN (WSLS 10) - We all have our favorite restaurants or places we like to frequent but would you ever consider going to the same place every day, twice a day, every day of the year? That's exactly what Jim Brumagin is doing in Dublin.
He sits at the same seat at Fatz Café in Dublin. The seat has great lighting for puzzles. Brumagin enjoys crosswords and Sudoko. The seat has an even better view of bartender Wendy, he said.

Brumagin, or Brummy to his friends, eats here twice a day every day. He has for the last seven years. That's when six servers at another restaurant relocated to work at Fatz.
"I knew something was going on I had to come down and check this place out," he said.
The Navy veteran and retired college professor was hooked, starting with the ribs.
"Their ribs, the meat literally falls off the bone. You don't have to bite, chew to get the meat off."
Brummy's routine remains the same. Soup for lunch, another menu item for dinner. His twice daily meals at Fatz surprised even his doctor when he dropped 50 pounds.
"He said well whatever you're doing don't quit."
It's proved to be better for his health and better for his wallet.
"Why should I go to Wade's and buy a bunch of groceries spend a pile of money and then I have to sit there and cook it," he asks.
But the best benefit may very well be the company. To staff at Fatz, Brummy is family.
"He knows all of our kids all of our families. He has a picture of my daughter and his wallet," said operating partner Tracy Nester.
Nester says quite a few customers come in regularly, but none quite like Brummy.
"If he doesn't show up, we do call to check on him or to see where he's at," Nester said. "Fuss at them a little bit for just not letting us know he's all right."
Brummy rarely misses meals at Fatz.
"The weather can keep me from here or if I get sick."
He says he has no intention of lighting up his stove.
"My stove in my kitchen it ain't been on in 10 years."
It will stay that way for years to come, because Brummy says, "They've got everything you could possibly want."
