The following information was provided by the office of the Commonwealth's Attorney, which served as prosecution in the case.

Evidence from the murder revealed the victim was likely ambushed and suffered 17 gunshots, according to Felmlee. He added, had the case gone to trial, witnesses were prepared to testify Dominique Moss was seen standing over the victim and continued to shoot after the victim fell to the ground.

Felmlee said, had the case gone to trial, the assistant chief medical examiner who performed the autopsy would also have testified in court. Felmlee said the M.E., drawing on experience from performing approximately 3,000 prior autopsies in her career, would have testified the victim in this case had the second-most number of gunshot wounds she had seen.

Felmlee said in an email to WSLS 10, "This was a brutal, brutal murder."
