PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY (WSLS 10) - The Pittsylvania County Sheriff's Office has identified the 18-year-old found dead Wednesday night as Jonathan Caleb Smith.
Smith, a student at Dan River High School, lived with his family in Ringgold.

Deputies found Smith in a home in the 1300 block of Kentuck Church Road Wednesday night. Investigators are interviewing family members and those with possible information about the circumstances of his death.
Smith's body was taken to the Medical Examiner's Office where the cause of death and manner of death will be determined.
This investigation is ongoing.
