WVIR Staff – NELSON COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) - Breweries in Nelson County are raising a pint to working together for the first ever "Brew Ridge Trail Week".
All six breweries in the county came together to create an exclusive, Belgian-style quadruple ale with ingredients from each brewery. The specialty brew called "Too Many Cooks" will be served in each tap room this week.

"So, doing this focus week, with so many activities that we've all pulled together with, you could stay out in Nelson County and play around in the different breweries on 151 and then head back into Charlottesville," said Heidi Crandall of Devil's Backbone.
The breweries will host special events all week beginning Monday which includes a St. Patrick's Day party at Blue Mountain Brewery and Wild Wolf Brewing Company.
There's even a 5K run at Devil's Backbone next Saturday.
