ROANOKE (WSLS10) - The during a five-week period, WSLS 10 Shred-A-Thons collected, shredded and recycled 625,000 pounds of paper.
The five-stop Shred-A-Thon tour visited Lexington, Danville, Christiansburg and Lynchburg and Roanoke.

During this year's Christiansburg Shred-A-Thon, we reached the mark of shredding and recycling a cumulative total of more than 1 million pounds of paper. Since WSLS 10 began hosting Shred-A-Thon events, we have collected a total of 1,559,000 pounds of paper.
All Shred-A-Thon events are free and there's no limit to how much paper anyone can bring.
While the exact dates are yet to be determined, the WSLS 10 Shred-A-Thon will return this fall!
