Woman dies after Carroll County brush fire

CARROLL COUNTY (WSLS 10) - An elderly woman died after a brush in Carroll County on Friday.
The fire was reported just after 12:15 p.m. on Meadowbrook Road in Cana, Virginia, according to NBC affiliate WXII .
At this time, the fire is extinguished and people are asked to comply with the county's burn ban currently in effect, according to Carroll County Emergency Services Director Everett Lineberry.
