ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Roanoke police say a man was taken to the hospital after being shot on Tuesday evening.
The shooting happened at about 6:15 p.m. in the 1800 block of Staunton Avenue NW, according to police.

The man was transported to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
No arrests have been made at this point and police say the investigation is ongoing.
