One more arrested in Operation Ice Breaker

AMHERST COUNTY, Va. – The Amherst County Sheriff's Office announced another arrest as a result of Operation Ice Breaker.

Granville Willard Smith IV, 34, of Amherst, is charged with distribution of a Schedule I or II controlled substance.

He was taken into custody in Nelson County and was released on bond.

The operation is looking to tackle the methamphetamine problem in the region, according to Sheriff E.W. Viar Jr.
