CARROLL COUNTY – An investigation is underway after a house fire in Carroll County.
It happened at about 8 p.m. Monday night on Rescue Road, near Pickett Road, in Austinville.
The Hillsville and Galax Fire Departments responded to the call.
The home suffered heavy damage.
There is no word on injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
