Tractor-trailer catches fire on Interstate 81 Stopped near Hollins exit
ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. – A truck caught fire on Interstate 81 on Friday afternoon.
The fire was caused by a mechanical issue, according to state police.
Police said the driver noticed something wrong and pulled over onto the Hollins exit ramp at mile marker 146, and crews arrived and extinguished the fire.
No one was hurt in this incident.
A tow truck is now coming to remove the truck.
