Montana wildfire consumes 42,000 acres

Montana's Lolo Peak fire continues to burn after sparking last week and destroying more than 42,000 acres. 

Crews have been fighting fire with fire, clearing brush and knocking down trees, all to limit the amount of fuel available for wildfires.

The crew can spend up to 21 days at a time hiking, sleeping and fighting fires in the remote, steep terrain. 

More homes were evacuated over the weekend after a flare up of the Lolo Peak fire. That fire remains at 31 percent containment.
