LYNCHBURG, Va. – Lynchburg police say a man who was shot several times earlier this year has died from his injuries.
Jermaine Shamont Hawkins, a Lynchburg resident, was 34 years old. He died Monday, according to police.
The shooting happened around 4:35 a.m. August 31 near the intersection of Rodes St. and Rivermont Ave.
Police have not made any arrests. They ask anyone with information to call Detective R. Robinson at 434-455-6116.
