MARTINSVILLE, Va. – UPDATE 5/14:
Martinsville Police say a man who was shot just after midnight on Mother's Day has died.
Investigators say 20-year-old Sean Demetrius Goddard, Jr. was taken to SOVAH of Martinsville following the 12:40 a.m. shooting on May 13. He was pronounced dead at the hospital one day later, on May 14.
As a result of the death, additional 1st Degree Murder and Conspiracy to Commit 1st Degree Murder have been added to the list of warrants against Brandon Thomas and Adrian Watkins.
Police have also learned there was a second person who was shot at, but not hit.
The updated list of warrants are as follows:
Brandon Tarall Thomas, age 30: Murder in the 1st Degree, Conspiracy to Commit 1st Degree Murder, Attempt 1st Degree Murder, Shoot a firearm into an occupied dwelling, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, Posses Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Discharging a Firearm in a Street Resulting in Bodily Injury to Another, Reckless Handling of a Firearm Resulting in Bodily Injury to Another, Brandishing a Firearm after having been previously convicted of such.
Adrian Eugene Watkins, age 27; Murder in the 1st Degree, Conspiracy to Commit 1st Degree Murder, Attempt 1st Degree Murder, Malicious Wounding, Shoot a firearm into an occupied dwelling, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, Discharging a Firearm in a Street Resulting in Bodily Injury to Another, Reckless Handling of a Firearm Resulting in Bodily Injury to Another.

UPDATE
Martinsville police say they've issued first-degree attempted murder warrants for two men in connection to a shooting that injured Sean Goddard just after midnight on Mother's Day.
Brandon Thomas and Adrian Watkins are being considered armed and dangerous.
Police say the case is still under investigation.

Martinsville police say 20-year-old Sean Goddard of Axton was injured in a shooting just after midnight Sunday.
The Department says they responded to the shooting call in the 1000 block of Askin Street.
Goddard has been taken to a Martinsville hospital.
Investigators are still looking for more details on the shooting.
