CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. – Strong storms caused a tree to fall on Thursday afternoon, landing on a Christiansburg business.
It happened at Life in Balance Counseling and Wellness Center or Roanoke Street at about 2 p.m.
One employee said she was coming back from lunch and right as she stepped inside, she heard a bang and realized the large tree outside had caused the tree to uproot and fall.
“Just happy that everybody’s okay and we can continue on. Just thankful,” said office manager King Long.

There’s a hole in the roof and employees had to use buckets to catch the rain that was still pouring inside during the storm.
