FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. – UPDATE
Authorities have identified the person that died in a crash in Franklin County on Wednesday.

According to Virginia State Police, Michael Priest, 37, of Huddleston died at the scene.
Officers say a box truck was going south on Brooks Mill Road when it sideswiped a southbound 2016 Chevy Silverado.
The Silverado then spun out and hit a southbound 2011 Lexus RX350, according to police. Authorities say the box truck then crossed the center line and hit a northbound 2008 Honda Civic head-on.
Priest was the driver of the Honda.
Authorities say the crash remains under investigation.

Virginia State Police are investigating a crash that happened in Franklin County Wednesday morning.
At 7:42 a.m., police said they responded to a multi-vehicle crash in the 4100 block of Brooks Mill Road.
Authorities said there is one confirmed death in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
