Human remains found on Hollins University’s campus

Police say the remains are not connected to the university

Police don't believe there's any connection to the university.

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. – Roanoke County police say someone found human remains on the campus of Hollins University on Tuesday afternoon.

The remains are not connected to the university, according to police.

As the investigation continues, authorities will remain on-site through Wednesday.

Hollins University is cooperating with authorities and notified its students, faculty and staff about the police presence on campus.
