Vaccine clinic takes doses on the move in Danville

Two buses will tour around the area to help get more shots in arms

DANVILLE, Va. – Coronavirus vaccines are now on the go in Danville with the help of two new buses.

Creating a clinic on wheels, these two buses can administer 250 Johnson & Johnson vaccines in one day.

If there are leftover vaccines from the Danville Mall clinic, people can sign up for an appointment the day before to get their dose.

The next stop will be at Cane Creek Parkway in Ringgold to administer vaccines Monday and Tuesday.

“We are trying our best to make it as convenient as possible for everybody,” Danville City Manager Ken Larking said. “It is going to make our community safer. It’s going to protect you, it’s really going to protect other people as well.”

You can check the City’s website daily to see if any appointments are available for the mobile clinics.
