ROANOKE, Va. – The Tudor House in Roanoke opened registration for a free support group for students who have suicidal thoughts.
The support group, aimed at high school-age youth, will meet at the Bradley Free Clinic on Wednesdays for six weeks.
Anyone who works with counseling services or is on medication but needs additional support is encouraged to register.
“A lot of times it is also helpful to have a group support in addition to that so they know they are not alone and they are able to connect with other people that are experiencing the same thoughts and emotions they are,” said Tudor House Executive Director Kathleen Thorell.
The dates for the support group will be released when it is filled up. For more information, click here.
