DANVILLE, Va. – A 14-year-old is now being charged with first-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting earlier this month, according to the Danville Police Department.
The incident happened on Aug. 16 in the 300 block of Halifax Street and ended in the death of 33-year-old Patrick Lanigan Duffy, of Danville, police say.

The Danville teen had been initially charged with robbery and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Marte Wil-Shownn Oliver, 19, is also wanted on the following charges in relation to the incident:
Robbery
Use of a firearm during a felony
Possession of a firearm by a felon
Authorities did not provide any updates on Oliver.
