ROANOKE, Va. – The Crystal Springs area in Roanoke is continuing to add new businesses to grow and serve the community.
Tuesday, they welcomed the grand opening of Yard Bull Meats.
The full-service butcher shop focuses on supplying the community with locally sourced meats from nearby farmers.
They also offer tools, rubs, and sauces for you to use while you grill at home.
The process of opening a storefront is something the owners have been working on for several years.
“There’s a lot of work that’s gone on behind it that’s not been very much fun, but now that we’re open,” Co-Owner and Butcher Tyler Thomas said. “We get to welcome customers into the front door, provide them with a great product, and feel really good about it.”
Yard Bull also offers occasional butcher classes if you want to learn any skills of your own.
