HIGHLAND COUNTY, Va. – A 68-year-old man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Highland County Saturday, police say.
At 3:10 p.m., a 2022 Harley Davidson was heading east on Route 250 when it ran off the right side of the road and hit an embankment, officials say.

The driver, William Hrovat of Monterey was wearing a helmet and died at the scene, according to police.
Virginia State Police say the crash remains under investigation.
