Heritage gets the season opener win against Albemarle, 24-7

ALBEMARLE, Va. – Last year’s state runner-up in Class 3 - Heritage - went out to Albemarle Friday night.

There were high expectations for the Albemarle team heading out onto the field, but Heritage wasn’t about to just lay down in their season opener.

Heritage took down Albemarle 24-7.
