Southside man buys plantation for family events, learns his enslaved ancestors worked on property

PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. – Fred Miller bought a plantation in Pittsylvania County with the hopes of hosting family gatherings.

He later learned more about his family and his ancestors who were enslaved on the property.
