DANVILLE, Va. – The Fire Marshal’s Office has arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with a fire that occurred Thursday night in Danville.
According to the Danville Fire Department, first responders were dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 1500 block of Glenn St. at 6:01 a.m. Thursday.

According to Danville FD, the fire was put under control in the single-story dwelling within 30 minutes. One occupant was discovered outside of the residence without injury.
According to the Fire Marshal’s Office, the cause of the fire was incendiary, and 29-year-old Michael Davis was charged with arson and was arrested without incident.
