One hospitalized after crash near the Shell gas station on Melrose Avenue in Roanoke
Heads up, drivers! There was a crash near the Shell gas station on Melrose Avenue in Northwest Roanoke. Please avoid this area if you can. (WSLS 10)Authorities initially reported that no one was hurt in the crash, but 10 News has since learned that there was one person hospitalized.
ROANOKE, Va. – One person was hospitalized after a crash in Northwest Roanoke on Monday morning, according to Roanoke Fire-EMS.
Authorities said it happened on Monday at about 7:37 a.m. near Melrose Avenue and Westside Blvd.
This area was closed to traffic for several hours as crews worked to repair the traffic lights that were damaged in the crash.
