CRAIG COUNTY, Va. – A woman has died and a man was injured following a car crash that took place in Craig County, Virginia State Police said.
VSP said a crash occurred on Friday around 10:45 a.m. on Route 311, just under 3 miles North of Route 658 in Craig County. A Chevrolet was traveling South on 311 when it ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, and overturned.

Authorities identified the passenger as 59-year-old Deniece Hubbard of Covington. Sadly, she died at the scene. The 64-year-old driver was injured and is being treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Police said charges are pending.
