Five injured after two-vehicle crash in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. – Five people were injured following a two-vehicle crash that occurred in Roanoke on Friday, Roanoke Police Department said.

RPD said officers responded to the intersection of 19th Street and Hanover Avenue NW around 5:35 p.m. on Friday after reports of a crash between a moped and an SUV. The driver and passenger of the moped sustained serious injuries and were taken to a local hospital. The three occupants in the SUV were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
