39-year-old Bedford man arrested for crimes against children

BEDFORD, Va. – The Bedford Police Department announced Thursday that it had arrested a 39-year-old man on multiple felony warrants involving crimes against children.

According to BPD, 39-year-old Gregory Johnson was arrested on 6 felony warrants and has been charged with the following:

• 3 counts of (§ 18.2-61) Rape
• 2 counts of (§ 18.2-370.1) Taking indecent liberties with a child
• 1 count of (§ 18.2-67.1) Forcible sodomy
