Franklin County Public Schools considering proposal to switch to four-day school week

FRANKLIN CO., Va. – Franklin County Public Schools is considering a proposal to switch to a four-day school week, according to officials.

The idea was introduced during a school board meeting on Monday. The proposal states that the school district is considering the change due to difficulty with staffing, budget constraints and to improve student engagement.
