LYNCHBURG, Va. – Heads up, drivers! Starting Friday and lasting through Tuesday, April 7, milling and paving will take place on a portion of Trents Ferry Road in Lynchburg from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The construction will be on the part of Trents Ferry Road from Boonsboro Road to Gorman Drive. The work was originally scheduled for earlier this week, but was delayed due to the weather.

During work hours, this stretch will be closed to through traffic with a detour in place using Gorman Drive to pass the work area.
Emergency vehicles will have access at all times.
